When you use Kaddre, we collect the following information:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and password (encrypted).
• Profile information: Location, bio, skills, idea stage, hours per week, languages, and profile photo.
• Quiz responses: Your answers to the founder archetype quiz and resulting archetype.
• Messages: Messages you send and receive through the platform.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interactions (likes, skips, matches).

2. How we use your data

• To create and manage your account
• To match you with compatible cofounders based on your skills and preferences
• To enable messaging between matched users
• To facilitate team creation and discovery
• To improve the platform and fix issues
• To send you important account-related communications (e.g., email confirmation, password resets)

3. How we store your data

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (cloud-hosted PostgreSQL) and served through Vercel. All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your profile information is visible to other authenticated Kaddre users as part of the matching and browsing experience. Messages are only visible to the participants in a conversation.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your profile, messages, matches, and quiz results will be permanently removed.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the platform.
